Coach-IQ and Askamon team up to connect performance and health
Coach-IQ is teaming up with Askamon, the medical data management system for high-level athletes. The doctor works in Askamon, the staff in Coach-IQ, and the information that matters flows between the two.
1 October 2026 · The Coach-IQ team
In a club, two worlds work on the same athletes: the performance staff, who prepare the week, and the medical staff, who treat athletes and decide when they return. They need each other, but not the same information.
Each to their own tool, each to their own trade
Askamon is the doctor's tool: the medical record stays there, hosted in France on HDS-certified infrastructure (HDS, the French certification for health data hosting). Coach-IQ is the performance staff's tool: training load, the calendar and its treatment slots, team communication.
What the partnership changes
- The athlete's availability reaches Coach-IQ: the staff know who can train.
- The doctor's guidance, entered in Askamon, appears in Coach-IQ for the staff members the doctor chooses.
- Authorised staff comment directly, athlete by athlete, so that the doctor and the rest of the staff work together, without going through phone calls or messaging apps.
The doctor stays in control of what is shared, and the medical record never leaves Askamon.
“A doctor works in their own tool, with the confidentiality that medical secrecy demands, and their guidance reaches the staff who need it. That's what makes collaboration natural.”
— Sébastien Collange, director of Askamon
“We never wanted to do doctors' jobs. Coach-IQ stops where the medical record begins. With Askamon, everyone stays in their role: the doctor in their tool, the staff with what they need to organise their week.”
— Michaël Penaranda, CPO of Coach-IQ
See you in Monaco. On 2 October, Coach-IQ and Askamon will be side by side at the Sports Doctors Network's From Pitch to Performance summit, at the Yacht Club de Monaco. If you're there, come and see us at our stands.
